Chuck Goldstone is indeed from a small mill town outside of Pittsburgh. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s Degree chaser from Boston University in media and instructional development. Chuck put on a suit and tie for some years as the founder and President of !deaworks (www.ideaology.com), a Boston based firm that provided clients nationally with communication strategies, film and video production, corporate training, and marketing. Though Chuck has focused his energy and attention as a humorist and author, he still dangles his feet in the occasional consulting gig, strategic think tank project, speech - for himself or others, and film production. He is also involved in the Institute for Distance Learning (www.instdl.com), an organization that develops online educational strategies and produces innovative education materials. Chuck has written humor for as long as anyone can remember. His pieces have appeared in magazines and his commentaries and essays have been aired on public radio for almost a decade, on Monitor Radio and most recently on Marketplace. He lives in Brookline, Massachusetts. |
